Property Description

Spriggs Farm consists of 53.79 acres of forest and meadow land with 650 feet of waterfront on the Magothy River; a major tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. The Farm is comprised of seven acres of meadow, forty-three acres of riparian forest, a two acre tidal pond, and a two acre historic homestead site with outbuildings.

The property area is of significant archeological interest dating to 600 A.D. The scenic views of the Magothy River are breath taking. This critical open space is habitat for native plant and animal species, including Bald Eagle, Osprey, Blue Herons, a variety of foxes, dear, birds and other animals.
